Agreed. I was lucky enough to view the film in 3D and it was like being there. Best 3D film I ever saw. Better than eve most live action 3D films I still have the 3D blu ray but sadly my 3D tv break.

Lumiere hasn't sounded like himself since his original voice actor passed away. The blu ray main menu had a sound alike that just made me cringe. You can also hear someone trying to do his voice in Mickey's Snowed in at the House of Mouse. A few have tried but nobody can quit capture his voice.

I literally cannot fathom how they'll make this work. Cruella de Ville was created for the sole purpose of just being a vainglorious unscrupulous selfish cunt. Hell, her name is just a slight alteration of "Cruel Devil".

I mean they made Maleficent work, but that was easy since it was pretty obvoius in the original film that she and the kingdom had an unhappy past together, we just weren't told about it.

Holy shit, that's Ursula too. Do you think they have the balls to attempt a live-action Ursula movie?
>>
>>83069893
Why Cruella though? There's a whole stockpile of other, arguably more popular Disney villains they could do this with.

Is it just because she has no magical or fantastical elements about her so making a film will be piss easy compared to the others?

>urban legend
It's not an urban legend anymore. The animators and John waters did an on screen interview where they came out and Ursula's look was based on Divine which is found on The Little Mermaid (Two-Disc Platinum Edition) as a bounce feature . They even showed some early rough animation of how she was going to looked before they glammed her up to look more like Divine.
>>
>>83069368
No I think he means just stick very close to the animated films script and reuse all of Robin Williams old dialogue with a CG character.

>Will this make close to a billion like Jungle Book?

An adaptation of one of the most famous and beloved Disney films of all time starring Hermione from Harry Potter? It's going to surpass a billion without even trying.

Hell, Alice in Wonderland managed to do that and it was mediocre as hell and starred a complete nobody (and Johnny Depp).
>>

That'll be as awkward as when they did that We Are The World remake a few years back with modern day music stars and when Michael Jackson's part came up they had no one to replace him and just played a recording of him singing his part.

It's pretty awesome how much fun Disney seems to have been having with their logo recently. I feel like it's something different in every movie which really makes it feel homemade considering that they're pretty much a sentient, self-sufficient corporation at this point. The hand drawn one for Jungle Book was so beautiful.

Shit, now if I try to search for or talk about "the live action Beauty and the Beast," everyone is going to think I mean the one with Emma Watson.

The scene where Emma is bent over by the beast and given a harsh spanking before being gloriously fucked till she's the beast's cum bucket surprised me. Great scene of a bitch being put in her place.

Film ends with Gaston and Beast spit-roasting Belle while high-fiveing like true bros.
