It was so disappointing, personally. For a film that is all about the end of the world, none of the fights felt like anything was at stake, and that everyone was pulling their punches. All of the horsemen had absolutely no characterisation beyond their powers, and J-Law hogged the screen for 70% of the film without saying anything interesting.

This is the most incredible backhanded compliment and I salute you for making it. Who would ever have imagined after Batman and Robin that WB could screw up again? Yet here we find ourselves, able to slap down a bad movie by comparing it to Batman vs Superman.
So will this just make people fear the mutants more? Or at the very least try not to blow up the school every few years since X-Men did just save the fucking planet.
