Does anybody else get huge foreshadowing vibes from Peridot saying she needed to fix the hole in the barn? I mean, she's an engineer from homeworld; she's probably not going to just slap a few boards over it. I feel like the CGs are going to come back to the barn in a few episodes and find out she's somehow built a warp pad or something.
Peridot is indeed the best gem, and I'd really like to see her living with the CGs, but it's for the best that she stays in the barn. She would get saturated too easy, because of how naturally she steals the scene, as another anon pointed out.
