Its so funny being STUPID right?

Just the puppetmasters pushing their growth-stunting, anti-intellectual agenda to more easily control the masses when they grow into malnourished, empty-headed adults.

The popular people were popular because they were likable. All the bullies were fucking losers that nobody liked because they were assholes.

>Family is the strongest bond
I hate my fucking sister, she raised her kids to be total assholes because "the world is a hard place."

All the people I talked to that knew her were nice fucking people, but they never had anything nice to say about her. She's seriously an asshole to everyone for no reason, she complicates life for herself and everyone around her. Especially our mother, who she blames for her getting herself pregnant, which takes an amazing amount of mental dexterity.

The best lesson she ever taught her kids were:
>You don't need a plan
>You don't need an education
>You don't need an idea
>You don't even need a job
>Just be an asshole because that's how all successful people got successful

This this this. I tried the diplomacy route when I was bullied in grade school. Guess what? Didn't fucking work. I had to bonk a head or two before people stopped being assholes in my general direction. I learned that from my parents. "Anon, you're such a sweet boy, and I know you want to be friends with everyone. But not everyone wants to be friends. As a matter of fact, some people are mean. Stay out of their way, and don't get involved with them." And then my mother pulled me in real close before whispering, "...and if they get involved with you, that's when you kick the SHIT outta them."

Love ya too, Ma.

here in north carolina I think kids get them in middle school as well, I remember I didn't back then, but it might've either been more recent or just not the school I went to. I heard Virginia and California do this too but only in select places? Probably working towards all middle school having them.

I have a wife into school stuff.

I also remember having "cubbies" in elementary school, jesus that was nice, right in the classroom for me to grab a snack

and do you guys remember those desks where the top opened up? or the ones that at least had the cubby under the lid to slide things into? lots of schools have flat desks now

This is a 100% truth. Girls bully each other and they can be vicious as fuck about it.

>>girls like bad boys

Truth. Some girls think they can find a bad boy, fix him, and get down to his hidden soft side. Other girls just like the confidence or are bad girls themselves

>>prom is the most important night of your life

to some it is, to some it isn't. Though I wouldn't say your entire life. More like just high school.

>>82974392
>>82974494

These two vary depending on the people in your life.

Some with empathize with you and want to talk things out to come to a better solution, and others won't.

Family can be the strongest bond depending on just who your family members are and it doesn't have to be your entire family. It could really just be one other family member.

One, because characters in fiction, like classes in a video game, are subject to balancing. Too stacked, it affects the plot. You need a cast that can play on its members' weaknesses and strengths, just like a boiling liquid in convection.

Two, usually, a jock can get an interest in nerdy hobbies, but nerds rarely take to sports or working out. Because it obviously is more difficult to move from a sedentary lifestyle to an active and outgoing one than the other way around, and some people simply aren't built for the strain of that. I myself loathe working out; I admit it.

This isn't actually true, small amounts of alcohol are actually good for you.
http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/alcohol-full-story/

>A majority will lead down a slippery slope-

None of them lead down a 'slippery slope'. You only fall into this trap if you are pre-disposed to becoming addicted to begin with. The 'slippery slope' gateway drug theory was a lie crafted during the Drug War. The most hardcore addicts never even touch the 'gateway' stuff.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ao8L-0nSYzg

>See the first, it all comes together at the very end.

This is almost never true about any part of authority. Authority is the end result of seniority, and is rarely the end-result of competency.

In truth, all of what I just mentioned are naive lies crafted from the 90's extremely simplistic view of the world. The 90's took the extreme view of gray-area issues and attempted to paint the entire world with that viewpoint because it made everything simple and easy to consume. No having to worry about drugs, because all drugs are harmful. No having to worry about alcohol, because all alcohol was harmful too. This was extended to everything, violence, video games, sweet foods, sex, and procrastination. All of which were portrayed in media in the simplistic sense, none of them ever considering context for their inclusion.

90's were fucking weird.

When will this meme end? At my high school, there were plenty of jocks, cheerleaders, girls on the dance team, and preps who were downright fucking mean and shitty to the less popular kids. Our school was very typical that way. Shit, I was even friends with a skater kid who was popular despite being a fucking terrible person who was in and out of jail constantly, yet plenty of people loved the guy and still do, even though he's only maybe a little better nowadays.

Almost all of my friends who have married did so for tax benefits and visitation rights in case of medical emergency (I'm in Germany). It was always a kind of "we've been together for 5-10 years, so let's do it" thing. I reckon it will be the same with my gf and me, will probably ask her this year (or she will ask me, don't know).

My point being, marriage is becoming a purely legal thing again and divorce is an option you can take without stigma if it doesn't work out. And that's for the better, because it relieves the pressure from relationships. The erosion of marriage as a societal institution is ironically enhancing it, making it "happier."

her first boyfriend is someone I know who has a huge aggression problem, and is spoiled as fuck by his rich parents, yet is consistently moody, refuses to get a job (because his parents give him money anyway) and spends all day indoors smoking weed and replaying games he's played a million times

her next boyfriend was someone who'd had a child with another woman (at age 20), yet never saw his daughter anymore and basically cut off ties with them; he also was a drug dealer, frequently got arrested and fought the police, and had a sawed off shotgun (in the UK); he then got my friend pregnant, left her a while later, threatened her, then cut off all contact.
last I heard he had gotten ANOTHER girl pregnant then ended up in prison

her next boyfriend was a 19 year old (she was 25 at this point and her daughter was 2), who was so inexperienced with ANYTHING that he might as well have been 12

her next boyfriend was someone we've known for years, who has a tiny penis, acts like an arrogant, immature cunt, but has a well paying job
it lasted a month

she's a nice, pretty girl, yet she has almost destroyed her life with her awful taste in men, it's astounding and depressing

>the is always a girl who is basically the female version of you, no matter how quirky or weird you are, and you're gonna mutually fall in love with each other at first sight

Why lie to the doomed? That's just mean.

That is the saltiest post. You don't have to conform to a pop culture idea of normal to have freinds or be social. I swear robots have zero clue how to put effort in and just complain.

Because when you pretend to be someone else, it's only a matter of time before the facade drops. Unless you plan on being somebody else for the rest of your life.

If you've ever been in a relationship where the other person "changed", then you'd know.

this is a big one for me. my younger sister has always been family. i love her, and even if i ribbed her sometimes its because i'm a big brother.
gravity falls is probably the only show ive seen that had a genuine sibling relationship.

>My point being, marriage is becoming a purely legal thing again and divorce is an option you can take without stigma if it doesn't work out. And that's for the better, because it relieves the pressure from relationships. The erosion of marriage as a societal institution is ironically enhancing it, making it "happier."

Marriage was pretty much always a legal thing. It was only for a brief period there in the early 20th century where "love" was the greatest motivator, but even then, women were looking for financial security and men were looking for sex/house work and had fewer options outside of marriage.

And considering all the bullshit that happens when people who have been living together for 10+ years go through when they break up anyway, having a legal agreement ahead of time just makes sense.

Gamers in real life are pretty fucking stupid.

>This is why good artists get annoyed when people say that they're "lucky they're so talented"; it diminishes the importance of actual effort they put in.

I remember Neil Degrasse Tyson saying this in an interview. People would always compliment him about how "naturally gifted he was", but he didn't feel that he was that smart. He just studied his ass off.

This is especially true when it comes to his personality. People see him in interviews, where he's charming, fairly active, and always ready with a witty and/or insightful comment, so they assume he's naturally like that. He mentioned in one interview that he actually does a lot of prep work before each interview. He'll watch the interviewer's previous work so he can get a better understanding of their style, their beats, and their patterns, and then prepare how he himself will respond ahead of time so he doesn't go up there and make a fool of himself.

Then he gets cornered by fans who want to engage him personally, and he has no plan for that, and they say he ends up coming across as aloof and too busy to deal with them.
