But how do you do the show design justice?
The show is essentially Terry dipped in black paint while wearing some nice shoes.
The only way I can really see it is if the face is more like a porcelain mask than a skin tight covering of his face.

It's not a stretch to think that the suit has reached such advancement that all it's tech is in a suit that's basically all latex or cloth. The overall suit is easy to recreate for a realistic medium like a movie, make it the same but slap a simple texture all over it like the BvS suit to break up the lack of details the face just literally needs to be >>82959366 this. It's supposed to look less like a suit and more like a demon bat dude so making the head anything less than a face in black makeup with white eyes is silly, at the most a latex mask or something with exaggerated features could be used but nothing helmet like.

Well that's why I mentioned the latex mask, it has to be something that warps with the actors face and you could make it as featureless, or exaggerated, as needed while still retaining that Beyond look. The face sells the costume as much as the red symbol and limiting that in any way would destroy the entire suit.

Well the Justice Lords are from a parallel universe, so while not outright stated it can be inferred that there were subtle differences in this version of the JL that would lead them down this path after Flash died.

I love this pic, because what really sells the Beyond design is that it's a living, stylized depiction of Batman in the shadows. Think of all the shots of batman with just the eyes and logo showing clearly and the rest in shadows. thats the effect the Beyond suit does. The fact that its tech is almost secondary, imo; what it is is using that technology to create a "pure" image of Batman. That's why in Beyond no one really calls him Batman II or new Batman or whatever, as far as most people are concerned, he IS Batman. Because the whole look sells it as a living shadow, not a mortal human.
