MJ is just a shadow of what she once was a character. I use to want her back as Peter's wife, but she's been changed to the point where I don't even want her to come back, she best left being killed off at this point. She's forever ruined for me. MJ's removal from Peter's life seems to be indicative of a bigger issue with editorial's perspective of the franchise: Nobody seems to know what to do with the surviving supporting characters that have been in Spidey's book for decades.
