To be honest I liked the peel logo. It looked really cool animated when it would peel back and something cool would come out like its a comic opening.
The current one seems over simple. Just dc in a circle with some serifs. Even the dc bullet had some style to it.
The peel logo was awful. Literally the worst logo they've done.
