I very much doubt the money she made from this will be worth her time. The amount she normally makes now is much larger, but this is an old contract signed before she was big. For the time she's had to invest in making and marketing it she's probably not doing very well at all - not just because she could have been making more on something people actually wanted to see, but because when you've been at the top a few years you tend to have large outgoings. After all those are worked out she's probably losing money here.

The worst thing about the movie is that the Phoenix is not something Jean caught in space, but something growing inside her just because. And Apocalypse is defeated by "unleash your true power Jean, let go, dont be afraid"

I also didnt like much Magneto as a factory worker in Soviet Block Poland; I cant imagine a retired Magneto doing that. There were less retarded options, make him work in the mining industry making a lo of cash, an accident happens, and he has to decide between saving hundreds of miners but outing himself as Magneto, or not.

Nightcrawler was very good btw, and I prefer the way they handled his difficulty to teleport many people in the movie to how it is in the comics.
Psylocke has few lines but she does look like the xforce character and her pink telekinetic weapons were very well done.

Return of the Jedi is one of the most iconic films in US pop culture, and most people know it came out in the 80's and so it helps reinforce the countless other cultural references made to the era.
Just like movies that look back on the year 1999 are going to feature Y2K scares, Episode 1 the Phantom Menace, walkmans, and President Clinton.
