I love old intros. They used to show off in these things. They always made the show look glamorous, almost like a moving painting. You always thought you were going to see something amazing and you were really in for it. Now, the quality of intros and the actual show are on par. More or less, they still accurately reflect what you're about to watch.
How about some modern intros?
Adventure Time is a continuous shot or a long take showing the world they live in. After that it's pretty minimal, visually and audibly.
You can't even call what Regular Show has an intro.
Gumball's intro is weird kaleidoscopic eye candy. Over here in the USA, they gutted the whole goddamn thing.
Uncle Grandpa's intro shows everything inside of the RV. It's mostly just a bunch of still imagery panned all throughout. The actual show moves more.
Star Vs The Forces Of Evil has the worst theme song I've ever heard. It looks good though.
Steven Universe, mostly all on the 1s. Good colors, accurately reflects the show.I just think it's boring to watch.
