Was this Malcolm's plan all along?
I'm going to choke from laughing if they don't at least refer back to his old plan. Also disappointed.

Yeah, it almost seems like he's running a giant Batman gambit, but that's giving too much credit to the writers.
I thought we were going to get another Green Arrow/Dark Archer battle, but no it's Thea. And of course they let him go for (reasons).

I just got reminded that he took Vandal Savage's ashes.
And then they forgot about it.

Not really. They love sucking his dick.

Sure, but he hasn't really done anything over the past three years. Or rather, he's done heinous acts, but Ollie always lets him walk away for inexplicable reasons.
At least Barrowman overacts like a champ so I can make these screencaps.
You guys remember when Malcolm was good villain?
God it seems so long ago...

S1 Merlyn is the absolute best CW villain in my opinion. If he stayed dead, he'd be only rivaled by Reverse-Flash.
S3/4 Merlyn has the same effect on me as Felicity does on this board.

They all have their best. Malcolm was the most intense - you could feel how personal his hatred was. Thrawne was terrifying, and Slade had such a beautiful plot.

What happened to Sin?

She got a proper DC ending

I personally felt Malcolm was scarier than Eobard.
There's something really unsettling about how unhinged he became after his wife's death.

Yeah, but the idea of a sociopathic speedster who can shove his hand through your heart in the blink of an eye terrifies me though.
Plus the scary helicopter noises.
