No matter their shittiness or the critical reception, all previous movies were eaten up by the moviegoing crowd and were all massive financial successes, especially outside the US. I just re watched ROTF a few hours ago, it really is just shitty...and I am not a Bayhater, but it's by far the worst of the movies

I have no idea what they were thinking with the distribution of that line. As I recall, most of the more detailed movie figs came out under the Generations banner, and during that time many countries weren't carrying Generations. I've seen tons of those one-step changers, non-transforming figures and other low-grade, gimmicky shit here in Europe, but no "actual" TF toys for the movie.
