If they go back to Fish vs Penguin and Jim Gordon on the run, I'm done with it. There's a lot of good to it, but the small stories feel like they're running in neutral. They've done "Jim Gordon on the run" twice in less than two full seasons and Fish's story should have been over.

Honestly I think the small stories are the way to do it. Shows like Daredevil, Flash, and Legends show that trying to pull off whole season stories is a good way to fuck yourself over and make your show boring as fuck.

It's definitely up there. And it's probably my all time favorite take on the city of Gotham in live action. It very much looks and feels like the Gotham of the comics.
It's definitely the most fun of what's on currently. It's the perfect blend of campyness and seriousness that a Batman adaptation should be. This is a city where most of the criminals will eventually dress up in goofy costumes, but those criminals are still very much a threat.

I really like Gotham. I wouldn't call it a cape show because no one wears a cape, and the main protagonist is James Gordon instead of a superhero. The main character of Gotham is the City of Gotham- and not any one particular character. I like the depiction of Gotham in this show more than in any other live action Batman movie or TV show.
