Sup /co/. I haven't kept up with western animation in a few years. What are some newer 'toons worth watching?
>>82831957
Goodness no.
>>82831957
Gravity Falls and... um.....
>>82832222
Maybe Star vs The Forces of Evil.I've never watched it, just checking your quads, anon.
>>82832222
Gravity Falls sucks.
>>82832495
That's just your opinion mate
please
Steven Universe, Motorcity, and Wander Over Yonder are my personal modern favorites
>>82831957
Wander Over Yonder if you can handle a childish tone
Since you're on /co/ you probably can
>>82832222Steven universe
>>82831957
Steven Universe is worth the investment.

W I T N E S S E D
>>82832495
t. jealous of quads
>>82831957Definitely watch Gumball. Season 1's a very different ride compared to the other three seasons, but all four can be enjoyable.
>>82831957
If you want to watch a show with /mlp/ tier autism, listen to these anons.
>>82832702
>>82832740
>>82831957
Only cartoons I've watched are Steven Universe and Over the Garden Wall.
SU is okay, some good episodes, some shit ones. Don't try to talk about it unless you want cancer.
OtGW is a 10-episode miniseries, and it was pretty nice. Very comfy.
>>82831957
Rick and morty
>>82834051
What cartoon doesn't have MLP tier autism though?
Bunnicula's alright. Not amazing, but it's not full of retarded characters like most stuff these days.
>>82835496
Bob's Burgers
>>82834051
I'll never understand why /co/ seems to think SU is the spawn of satan. It's just a cartoon
>>82839278
It's the fandom at times they cause problems on /co/ on par with what people pretend mlp did
/co/ does overreact a little though

Here's a non-exhaustive list of western cartoons I've enjoyed in the past ten years, in no particular order (except for OtGW, which might be my favorite of the bunch):
>Over the Garden Wall
>Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated
>GI Joe Renegades
>Gravity Falls
>Steven Universe
>Green Lantern: The Animated Series
>Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes
>Dan Vs.
>Bob's Burgers
>Tron: Uprising
>Spectacular Spider-Man

I want to smell Tina's feet.

>Over the Garden Wall
Short miniseries about two brothers lost in the woods. Very comfy.
>Steven Universe
Ongoing series about a boy with magic space-rock powers and his three magic space-rock caretakers. It's pretty endearing, and is slowly building to bigger plots, for better or worse. Has nice music and takes lots of inspiration from anime. Hide from the fanbase.
>Gravity Falls
Fun adventure series about two siblings exploring weird stuff in Oregon. Weird stuff accumulates, the plot gets gradually bigger. Might lose you in the last season. The jokes fall somewhere between randumb and clever.
>Star vs the Forces of Evil
Energetic magical princess is an exchange student living with a tight-laced karate boy and his family. You'll know whether or not you'll like it within the first five minutes. Its first season is a bit "problem of the week", but it seems to be setting itself up for a bigger arcing story.
>The Amazing World of Gumball
Funny series about a family of cats/rabbits in a world that's mixed-media animation. It's incredible how well the mixed media comes together and looks like a consistent artstyle; the show is worth watching just for that. My top pick for best currently airing cartoon.
>Wander Over Yonder
Happy-go-lucky main character travels the galaxy being really fucking optimistic and joyful. His archvillain is an angry, overcompensating sadsack who finds Wander very annoying; their chemistry is a lot of fun. Beautiful fluid animation, simple shapes, and general lighthearted fun.
Those are some of the most popular ones. Dan VS, Green Lantern: TAS, Bob's Burgers, and Uncle Grandpa also have a lot to offer.

>The Venture Bros. - yes, it's still going
You might also be interested to hear that Samurai Jack will be revived soon (that's revived, not rebooted), and that it will be helmed by Genndy Tartakovsky again.
Rick and Morty
Gravity Falls
Wander Over Yonder
Bojack Horseman

It's the fandom. SU is a fun show, but a lot of the fanbase is driven by shipping and waifus.
On that note,
Adventure Time
Gravity Falls
The Amazing World of Gumball
