If you were to write a story to redeem the Joker, or at least make him sympathetic, how would you go about it?
I would just poop in a Ziploc bag and draw the eggplant emoji followed by the squirting emoji.

Show how why the reason why he doesnt kill harley is because shes the only thing that matters to him anymore. It shows flashbacks of him killing gagsworthy and bob (ill use this as a way to canonize bob the goon into the comics), and have tenstory set around the joker realizing how harley is alot like his dead wife from killing joke, and bowing to treat her better. Basically transisioning the joker to be more stern yet comical and loving with harley.

Honestly, I'd have him create an elaborate plot to kill himself in a crazy ultimate joke way of dying (something with a killer punchline, etc), but still be slightly sane enough to be really afraid for himself and so keep making these "call for help" attempts to reach out to Harley or Batman so they can save him from himself. Which I think he would find very funny.

Honestly, The Killing Joke is the best thing that happened to the character.
TDK actually made him sympathetic. A lot of people at least 'understand' his view point even though he's a fucking maniac.
