What's the essential Thor-core?
The movies.
Check the official recommendation /co/mblr but I know the God Butcher arc from God of Thunder is on there and is probably one of the best Thor solo stories
Simonson's run, JMS' run although it isn't really complete, thor the mighty avenger, thor vikings
>>82814593
the one when thor kissed a black guy.
>>82814987
Wasn't that scene in the Ragnarok storyline?
>>82814654
that fucking list is so bad, half the links I try don't even work
>>82815066
I was talking about The Avengers cover but if that actually happens with male Thor pls could you post the image?
>>82814849
This, and Ragnarok is awesome too.
>>82814593
Everything wrote by Simonson or JMS, everything draw by Ribic.
Extra: Ultimates 1, 2 and Ultimate Thor from Hickman. Ultimate Thor, best Thor.

>>82817400
did someone do a thread about this yet?
>>82818487
You mean did someone story time Gwenpool #2?
Yes, its in the archive.
>>82817400
I like her bug eyes.
>>82814654
God of Thunder, the Loki, and Sif arcs of Journey into Mystery got me into that kind of stuff. Whatever the magic-and-gods side of Marve is called. Mystic Marvel?
>>82814987
the one when thor killed a black guy.
>>82814593
500 sit-ups, 500 Asgardian Twists and 1/2 an hour of planking before every meal.
>>82815296
Gonna have to be a little specific senpai. There are nine Ragnaroks.
>>82819428
He probably means Disassembled.
That or Simonson's Ragnarok.
>>82814593
Simonson's is considered definitive.
Definitely read Lee/Kirby too (although the first half or so is Thor punching gimmicky bank robbers and communists)
Aarons' first volume (although you probably already know that)
Come to think of it I found everything after his return ~2006 pretty smooth sailing.
In terms of minis there's Heaven & Earth, Astonishing Thor, For Asgard, Chaos War: Thor, Loki, Ages of Thunder & its various sequel volumes.
Also there are these (presuming the image links still open):

I really enjoyed this arc, and I don't know why /co/ hates it
>>82819679
/co/ loved it. Aaron went on to ditch it and write Whor so now we're all retroactively obligated to hate it out of hurt.
Straczynski's run on Thor is also really good.
Is the run that gave Thor his modern look too
>>82819235
but that is a robot Thor
>>82819679
most people liked Gorr's arc, but the run went downhill the moment the Malekith arc started.
The moment they killed Alflyse most people got mad.
