I've always said it : Moore should be contractually forced to have a cameo in every DC (and WB) film. Each time, he would directly look at the audience with utter disgust and not says anything while actions goes on. His disgruntlement would be perfect for the mood DC is setting for their movie.

I've heard that Fantastic Four and Hulk were pretty bad, and so stayed away from those. I actually went to see Amazing Spider-Man and so I KNOW how terrible that was, and avoided the second.
I just never got around to looking up Last Stand, for whatever reason. Didn't want to pay for it in theater, haven't wanted to buy the DVD.

No they were advertising the store. Just like I hop or 7/11 or the airline ww is on for no reason or the car batman drives or the phone he uses that gets a close up. Spot advertising is common as fuck and shit like dceu flicks are bound to be rife with it. I got no issue as long as it's handled well. But let's not pretend dc movie are some bastion of integrity and that's why they won't do the dc equivalent of a Stan cameo when they'll take money for an in film commercial like any other Hollywood whore of a production.

Product placement is in every huge movie to gather as much money for the budget. Having the product clear enough to see in a scene is subtle enough to make the lawyers happy or else you get sued like Transformers 4.

DC doesn't do cameos like that, largely because most of their characters were created so long ago that most people are dead. Plus most people aren't as recognizable as Stan. DC at least to me seems to prefer throwing the creator's name within the story in some connection, like name a street or character being talked about in dialog with the creator's name.
