It's time for the first ever DC Death Match!

Using the Mutants and masterminds system and the Character sheets from DC adventures I'll be pitting two titants against one another to the death!

Move action: Firestorm flies over supermans head and past him 50 feet

move action: follows firestorm and closes the gap.
Standard action: uses unarmed and punches firestorm. 1D20+11 = [5]+11 = 16

firestorm parrys the hit and avoids damage.

that hits firestorm. DC29 toughness save 1D20+10-1 = [11]+10-1 = 20. firestorm fails by 2 degrees and is knocked upward 2 miles until he begins to slow to a float.

move action: flies upwards towards firestorm[with his speed rank he can reach him in a single move and does]
standard action: heat vision 1D20+10 = [17]+10 = 27[hits, but firestorms reaction goes into effect and the damage is negated by going intangible]

superman fortitude/toughness save 1D20+15 = [5]+15 = 20[fails by 1 degree and is dazed on the fortitude save] 1D20+18 = [8]+18 = 26[fails by 1 degree and is bruised]

superman[dazed and limited to either a move action or standard action]

firestorm dodge resistance check DC19 1D20+12 = [14]+12 = 26[damage is halved and in this case the affliction is halved and rounded up by 1 for a DC15] firestorm fortitude save 1D20+10 = [7]+10 = 17

firestorm parrys the attack and continues downward.

No.Quests are a very different thing from this. If OP was asking us to choose what the characters do it might count as a quest.

Pisses me off that Atomic Think Tank never did one of these books for Marvel and Marvel made it's own shitty RPG where you can only play existing characters from existing comic books.

Probably some sort of thing they signed I bet; "If you make these DC gamebooks with us using M&M3e, you can't do anything with Marvel, ever. Them's the rules."
I'd kill for BOTH universes to be stated up.

superman makes a fotitude save DC18 1D20+15 = [1]+15 = FAIL! [that is a critical failure! he suffers the highest degree of failure. incapacitated] Next is the toughness save, but because he is incapacitated he is defenseless and the damage has the fullest effect which is dying and followed by death]
