Honestly, while I understand the humor of DeMatteis, his dialogue isn't that good. He often puts paragraphs upon paragraphs of jokes on each page, hoping that at least a few stick. And he has this constant thing of constantly repeating things the reader already knows - he was still introducing Ariel Masters and Lois Lane in the penultimate issue of Justice League 3001.
He has a knack for comedy, sure, but you don't have to set up a joke with dozens of words when a few will suffice.

At least Kory is being Damian's mother and team mom in general. If Dick is referenced as Damian's dad then Kory moving to the Titans book with Dick within a year or two is plausible. She did that a decade ago with TT and Outsiders.

I agree that they should kill the TT concept because like some said here, it's not like there are many young heroes in dcu and hardly anyone care about Tim's generations anymore (and they should let them grow up already).
Titans should be a book that gather all the characters that can't stand on their own and let the characters who have a solo to be free from book because it's not fair to have them take a panel time from the characters who don't have their own books.

Oh yeah and in Simone's last Batgirl issue, the Futures End one, James shows up at at Barbara's wedding, tells her husband to jump off the roof or he'll kill Barbara, and then laughs when the idiot actually does it. After brutalizing (possibly killing him? I don't remember) she precedes to get swole and form her own team of Batgirls, including an ooc surly Cass Cain. The plot twist at the end is that her unnatural-looking gains were in fact all-natural and not from the use of Venom.
