When did you realize the Marvel Cinematic Universe was complete bullshit?
>>
I actually loved this moment. It had great delivery
>>
>>82788485
When I realized my opinions were subjective and not objective facts.
Too bad I'm not OP though.
>>
>>82788485
There is literally nothing wrong with that scene or the logic behind it.
Going for this when there are so many examples of genuine bullshit you COULD use is perplexing.
>>
>>82788485
Kek, thinking vision is just a robot

During this moment
>>
>>82788573
>>82788537

He's a fucking robot. He doesn't even inherit the powers of Thor. It's a loophole and shit on lore only for a quick quip, which is what the MCU is really 3bh
>>
>>82788643
He's worthy, therefore he can lift the hammer.
>>
>>82788643
I thought it was because he was seconds old and still hadn't been corrupted by the horrors of the world
>>
>>82788485
After the Avengers.
>>
>>82788643
He's not just a robot though. Especially not in MCU. He is clearly something much more powerful.
>>
>>82788485
I wouldn't call it complete bullshit, but it is a collection of slightly-above mediocre films.
>>
>>82788643
I don't think they explained this why "he's a robot, thus not alive, thus he can lift it", as in it was a shock to everyone that this "robot" could lift it
rather the programming of the A.I., that thing they used from the infinity stone to create Ultron, combined with Javis to create an actual being. Not robot, but actual "personality", including a body that is almost organic.
>>
Elevator
>>
When I realized the movies would never mention or show Agents of Shield. Making AoS pointless.
>>
>>82788485
I'm very sorry about DCEU.
>>
>>82788643
They are just prepping him to try lift the hammer later and not be able to.

Vision will be the first being to lose worthyness and be happy about it, because it'll mean he has become more human.
>>
>>82788485
>When did you realize the Marvel Cinematic Universe was complete bullshit?

I have only two gripes about the Marvel Cinematic Universe:

>Ever since they did the Avengers they've essentially been making the same movie over and over again.

>Spider man doesn't organically make web, but I'm willing to admit that's me being autistic.

I really like what they've been doing so far- I can't complain, I really can't; especially with how fucking complete 100% s-rank shit D.C is churning out with their movies. Which is Ironic.

It's really fucking ironic because I LOOOVE the D.C animated films and the tv series; they're GREAT, they're amazing! I love um! Fantastic! I think the MARVEL animated series and movies though are poopoo though.
It's funny.
>>
>>82788935
I get the feeling you don't read actual comics
>>
>>82788935
>Spider-Ma doesnt organically make web
You mean it's comic book accurate?

>I think the MARVEL animated series and movies though are poopoo though.

The Exception being Planet Hulk.
I fucking loved planet hulk: the plot-hook of being so fed up with Hulk that the avengers essentially tranquilize him so they can ship him off to a planet devoid of sapient people so he can live off nuts and berries amused me greatly.

But then he careens onto a habituated planet and proceeds to fuck everything up and become conan- it's great, I loved it.

Trigger warning: I don't.
>>
Guys

I don't care about DC/Marvel fanboyish loyalty.

I just like Thor.
>>
>>82789061
>>
>>82789079
Replace Thor with Ant-Man, and you're on to something
>>
>>82789061
I don't know why this would be a trigger warning to anyone who isn't autistic

Some people are just here for the cartoons and couldn't give a fuck less about comics

>complaining about spider-man having webshooters

you need to leave
>>
>>82788667
This too.
>>
>>82788643
Exactly, he's a robot.
He can lift the hammer the same way a table can hold it.
>>
>>82789145
How much does the hammer weigh? Also, is Cap "Corrupted"?
>>
>>82789170
Civil War and his selfishness to go out of his way to defend Bucky prove that he's not entirely worth it.
>>
>>82789170
>Also, is Cap "Corrupted"?
>hooked up with his girlfriends niece
Yup, he's not pure anymore
>>
>>82789145
Not true. The elevator thing is stupid.

You should think of him as a human/alien, he is worthy of holding the hammer. He was born of an infinity stone for fucks sake.
>>
>>82788667
Does this mean a baby could lift Thor's hammer?
>>
>>82789208
Why?
His body was built, and his consciousness was originally the AI on Tony's armor.
There's no life in there, just a super advanced computer.
>>
>>82789210
If the baby could lift like, 20 pounds, sure.

I lost my hype for a bit after Age of Ultron, since I was really looking forward to that movie and was left disappointed.

Ant-Man and Civil War gave me hope for the MCU again though.
>>
>>82789210
No, babies are selfish assholes
>>
>>82789210
Original sin, motherfucker, do you even into Christianity?

All humans are born corrupted.
>>
>>82789216
Your brain is just a really advanced computer.
>>
>>82789258
But i'm alive.
Vision's body was built, and his AI is nothing more than a lot of 0's and 1's.
>>
>>82789079
Who gives a fuck about Thor?
>>
>>82789275
The human brain is nothing more than neurons firing or not firing.
>>
>>82789216
The infinity stones are life. He was born from one.

Do you even into marvel comics
>>
>>82789305
That's the basics of human consciense, and Vision doesn't have that.
He's just a robot.
>>
If you were asleep, and Thor put the hammer on top of your hand, would it crush your hand?
>>
>>82789321
Mind stone. He has a conscience.

>>82789325
Not anymore than any other slightly heavy object. You just wouldn't be able to lift your hand.
>>
>>82789321
He's not just a robot, quit. He's a robot born from one of the most powerful and complex items in the universe.
>>
>>82789325
>pranks in Asgard U are Thor and the Warriors Three placing Mjolnir on people's bodies when they're sleeping then waking them up
>>
>>82789325
it's been shown to only be as heavy as a normal hammer when out of a worthy's grasp. Now if you were in an elevator going up, and he did this... that's were it gets tricky.
>>
>>82789339
I now wish Thor/Whor would do pranks. I mean, sure they'd all be "W/Thor places hammer on top of something", but it'd be funny at least 30 times
>>
>>82788643
>only for a quick quip
But that wasn't the purpose of that scene. You might be legitimately retarded.
>>
>>82789368
Wasn't there a scene in The Dark World (trying to remember) where he puts the hammer on top of Loki to immobilize him?

>>82789366
An elevator would 100% still work with Thor's hammer on it.
>>
>>82789411
Thor 1. When they're fighting on the rainbow bridge
>>
>>82789251
So was Jesus an Eternal, a Mutant, or an Inhuman?
>>
Thor hung the hammer on a coat rack in Dark World
>>
>>82789424
Why not all three?

I'm not a big fan of X-Men but would love to see Jesus from ages 20-30 as a vigilante mutant. He'd be young enough to be reckless but still Jesus so still a good guy. It'd be so fucking stupid and fun in a campy way.
>>
>>82788485
>When did you realize the Marvel Cinematic Universe was complete bullshit?
When Thor's dad reprimands him for saving a bus full of kids.
>>
>>82789453
There aren't enough "the lost years of Jesus" stories, I wish more people tried to have fun with that.
Even Snyder mostly skipped over it.
>>
>>82788485
Wrong premise.
It's quite decent entertainment, the acting's good and fun is being had.
People like what they like -

There, I posted in your troll thread.
>>
>>82788485

Phase 2 was bad but Phase 3 is going great so I don't think it's as bad as before.
>>
>>82789424
Jesus is warlock
>>
>>82789480
Jews believe that Jesus was taught Egyptian magic during that time, and newage faggots believe that Jesus learned Hindu/Buddhist/Zoroastrian magic during that time.
>>
>>82789646

>>
>>82789688
Adam Warlock is the marvel universe Jesus
>>
>>82789550
I wouldn't say Phase 2 was entirely bad.

Great
>Captain America: TWS

Good
>Ant-Man
>Guardians of the Galaxy

Meh
>Age of Ultron

Pure shit
>Thor 2
>Iron Man 3

In my humble opinion. It was so and so, with some great stuff and some horrible stuff at the same time.
>>
>>82790097

IMO only GotG and Cap 2 are great, Ant-man in the middle, and the rest in the shit pile.
>>
>>82790097
I am inclined to agree
>>
>>82790097
Heh, Iron Man 3 as a movie is perfectly fine as "Good". Without the expectations it got.

Ultron and Thor 2 are meh. Perfectly good to watch once, but the second time is grating/boring, respectively.

I'd also put GotG as genuinely great. My whole family from my grandpa to my 10 year old cousin all love it, and it's funny to watch the whole bunch laugh completely asynchronously while watching the movie.

It was definitely a step up from Phase 1, though.
