Iron fist isn't the sort of story where you show him as Danny Rand for 12 episodes and have him become the Iron Fist in episode 13. It makes more sense to have him wear his K'un Lun outfit for the entire beginning, and take it off to accept his role as Danny Rand later
When Daredevil came out, it was great because it was something new. But they're gonna fuck the whole thing up if they treat that like a formula they have to force every Netflix hero to follow.
