I love Daria, but much like Fight Club, both the book and the movie, certain things like Beavis and Butt-Head, The Maxx need to stay in the 1990's

Daria was that little smart ass outcast high school chick, and that personality is timeless. If they did revive Daria, she would have to be equipped with all the technology, upbringing and social issues of the late 2010s, ergo modernized and even "tumblrfying". Then again, other than cashing in on the nostalgiafags, MTV shows are really marketed towards high schoolers anyway, nobody I know even watches MTV anymore.
