Clarence still has a lot of episodes in the pipeline for sure, also it's much easier to re-run it than continuity-based shows like SU and it has 3 times as many facebook likes as We Bare Bears (for what that's worth). I believe and hope it's safe, mostly because I really like it.

I think it's because they got so used to a certain level of profit margin (which goes up as you see more units) that they won't release anything that won't sell X amount of units, and as home media sales as a whole sharply decline that means less stuff gets released, even though it makes much more sense to just adjust the economics to the market (and actually cater to collectors, who will soon be the only people buying your shit).
Still, a Gravity Falls series set would obviously sell excellently (especially if they continue their shitbaggery of not putting the show on streaming services), the only explanation for that is stupidity.

It should be worth noting a lot of the shows on the network feel like they're wrapping up story wise and many of the cartoons haven't been renewed for a following season., such as Clarence, Teen Titans Go!, and new "PPG". I'll list the main line up from most likely to get cancelled to least likely to get cancelled.
I'm also starting to wonder if maybe the network wants to just start over and end their current line up. All of the shows seem to be getting tired creativity wise. Even Gumball and Steven Universe seem to be giving up a bit. It's time to end these shows. Time to bring in some new talent. I'm sure a few will stick around but for the most part I'm expecting a rebranding.
1) Uncle Grandpa (already cancelled in March)
2) Regular Show (seems to be wrapping up it's stories and characters + low ratings)
3) Clarence (nobody is watching this very much, plus it seems the show has already run out of steam)

8) Teen Titans Go (It's a cash cow. Kids and parents alike love it. It'll go for quite awhile.
9) Steven Universe is huge. It has a huge online following plus it gets some of the highest ratings. It ain't going anywhere)

If I recall both shows went fucked when they did the short lived Adventure Show block on Saturdays for new episodes, they quickly went back to thursdays and the ratings are going back up i believe
