I can only "confirm" that the last Gotham talkback thread was put on autosage, so by the time the episode actually ended, the thread was already on page 10.
I imagine it's because of people who keep "waifufagging" the actors, i.e. the underage one, and then start using the thread as an excuse to post here for whatever's after i.
I suppose if it is banned, it's about as banned as plenty of other things, since Mods often aren't discrete with what's allowed and what isn't allowed, so it just happened out of nowhere.

Possibly, but you can't deny that it isn't annoying as fuck, with all of the live action shows. It's one thing when it's a cartoon or comic character, because, hey it's /co/ it's annoying but it's still kind of charming, but in threads for shows like Gotham or Flash it's just random actresses, even random people in commercials, and I can't help but find it too stupid, even for what's the norm.
And then it's HOW they post when they do it, too, like "Oh, look at this random picture of actress, this show is so much better than your show", when there's nothing stopping you from just liking all the shows and they're just pointlessly causing flame wars.
I mean, at this point I'm going off on a tangent, I doubt they're "banned" and OP you're probably overreacting in the long run, but god if that isn't something I hate about the TV live action threads.
