Why does Iron Man armor nowadays looks like its not heavy?

back during its AD/DC entrance eras it sounded and looked so mechanically heavy.

what happened?

also why did Disney stopped using AC/DC as Iron man theme music? it was great

Why aren't phones the size of bricks anymore?

Why aren't computers the size of entire rooms anymore?

Why are you incapable of using any part of your brain?

The series just got more cartoonish. The special effects team in the first said that they really tried to make the suit seem like a 600-800 pound suit of titanium, which is noticeable in some scenes like when he crashes through his roof. Now it seems very light.
>>
Because AC/DC is shit

War Machine looked way fucking better originally, too. And distinct from Iron Man.

I like the left one a lot. The right is just gray Iron Man.
>>
>>82761378
Stark probably worked on making it lighter and more portable.
Which is also why it's more fragile, but he doesn't need a machine and 5 minutes to put it on or get out of it.

This guy has it right. As a design goes and goes it keeps becoming more streamlined and better for the masses, customization has shit
>>
>>82761378
They actually built a suit for the actor to wear in the first Iron Man. In 2 it was partial suit + cgi. By IM3 it was cgi only.
>>
They mostly stopped using AC/DC after Iron Man 2.

Iron Man - Black Sabbath (duh)
Iron Man 2 - AC/DC (War Machine)

The one in CW is sufficiently bulky compared to Ironman imo. Much thicker than the Mk-II/Iron Patriot suit.

right is grey iron man, left is grey iron man with extra gauntlets and shoulderpads

he's a lame ripoff either way

Avengers had it

Once

Still means they used it in it.

Which is why I was right to say that they mostly stopped using after Iron Man 2.

It still is.

>Iron Man 3
>>
>>82762199
It might be intentional since the earlier suits were stronger. Cap could beat the last one with his bear hands
>>
>>82761378

Because the CGI is getting worse?
>>
>>82767366
>Cap could beat the last one with his bear hands

No he couldn't; it was a 2v1 and he still had to use the edge of the shield to break it.
>>
>>82761378
Why is this such a common question lately?

Since Iron Man 3, he's wanted to have more mobility. He can't be as strong with so many different plates allowing him movement. It's structurally weaker.
>>
>>82767366
>Cap could beat the last one with his bear hands
You mean 2 on 1 and one of his hands had his shield in it?
>>
>>82761378
It was really clanky and stiff in Civil War I thought, especially when he was helmetless.
>>
>>82761378
Holy shit, Avengers looks so dated in both how its shot and in the CGI. That's fucking nuts.
>>
>>82767366
They gave him bear hands?

Disney's really taken a lot of liberties.

>hiring a tv director wasn't a great move for a major blockbuster
what a surprise

worked for Winter Soldier and Civil War

Isn't the goal of any armor to one day make it super compact and lightweight, without losing protection?

It's Trojans mission statement

We've all known for some time that the biggest thing holding humanity back is our ability to acquire picnic baskets. This was the next logical step.
