And now you, Anon, have been put in charge of "long-term planning" for the writers. What's the season pitch you propose for any of the remaining seasons, knowing that Ollie still has 3 years worth of flashbacks to Lian Yu?
Who ends up in and out of the team, who are the bad guys, what are the overall themes of the seasons? Flash is happening already but not LoT, so if you want to go ahead and suggest another spinoff then go wild.

In Season 5 Oliver is left alone with no team (due to the aftermath of the season 4 finale). The flashbacks are in Russia where Ollie must learn russian and killing people with vodka bottles. Malcolm is Thea's mentor and Diggle is with Lila trying to stop world war 3 after Havenrock was bombed
Felicity dies
Malcolm Merlyn slips on a banana peel and falls over and dies
Ollie, Diggle, and Detective Lance sit around drinking and laughing and loving life

Season 3. The rise of the Black Canary.
Sara is running around as BC and being cool, but the league of assassins is not too fond of her using her skills in ways that they do not approve of, and send assassins to finish her off.
Merlyn, still comming to terms about that whole Thea is his daughter business, and that his son tommy is dead heads off to Lian Yu to train her and hatch a scheme to get to the Lazarus pit with his new side kick to revive his son.
While Arrow and crew are battling assassins, Felicity decides one day she's going to Central city comic con as BC, using the actual outfit. Theres this whole comic bit about her stealing the suit without anyone noticing. She goes to the convention and is mistaken for Sara by some league guys. They take her out and get rid of the body without anyone knowing.
It takes the team 3 episodes to track her down, without Felicity's help, they have to get Ray to help them. Ray blames himself for her death because he was late to the convention due to a board meeting, and so starts work on his Atom suit to fight bad guys.
Sara meanwhile has been hot and heavy with Ollie again and the two are getting along great when Merlyn shows up and kills her outright himself. Turns out the league has Speedy and is using her as collateral to finish Sara off for good.
Rest of Season 3-5 continue on without Felicity involved, Merlyn is way more evil, and Laurel and Ollie hook up for season 5.

Season 3 should be Prometheus waging war on ARGUS. Flashbacks are about an ARGUS presence on Lian Yu instead of in Hong Kong.
Season 4 should be the Harmony Cult and also the Star City Slayer performing demonic rituals for power. You can have Constantine in the flashbacks and other stuff similar to but more interesting than the real Season 4 flashbacks.
Season 5 should be Count Vertigo with actual weird vertigo technology (since no Season 3 means no second Vertigo has been introduced, so we can get an actual real man of nobility, with Merlyn as his mercenary commander). Flashbacks would involve the Russian Bratva using Lian Ru as a stockpile point for smuggling and Ollie basically being the island guardian protecting the goods for the Bratva in exchange for creature comforts being delivered to him, until he has his change of heart about crime and decides to return home. In this version Count Vertigo is probably russian crime nobility so there can be more Bratva conflict.
Why would I do anything different?
The show is perfect.
Arrow finally meets the goddamn batman and they'll have some sort of rivalry going on where they race who solves the episode of the week mystery first
