I remember watching Cascade when it came out and being so amazed at how much sense the timeline of the universes' destruction making when viewed from Bec Noir's perspective. I think I'm a bit biased with mental breakdown given the music and snappy animation, I'm a sucker for both. The twists themselves had been figured out pretty much, though confirmation was nice. Cascade just did so many things right with characters you cared about all doing cool shit, teamed with some amazing music and visuals on top of it really setting up the story. Then it all went pear shaped.

The thing about going God Tier is that it's unclear how players are supposed to know about it. Presumably it's something that's hidden in the lore of the land. Either way, it's an optional power boost, and Sburb seems to be balanced around few to none of the players getting it.
Think about this: in the timeline that Davesprite came from, after spending quite some time grinding, with the express intent of learning as much about the game as possible, neither Rose nor Dave learned about God Tier. It's THAT well hidden a mechanic.
