Korra was better overall. Yeah Book 2 of Korra was weak but people are forgetting/wilfully ignoring how awful season 1 of AtlA was, literally nothing fucking happened and it was more apparent in that season than the later ones that it was a kids show you the viewer were watching.
Book 3 of Korra is my favourite in both Avatar series and the shit Korra villains get for being 1-dimensional is funny as hell when you remember the end-game villain in AtlA, Ozai, is literally a moustache twirling dark haired man whose sole contribution to the story is ME BIG BAD EVIL OZAI for Aang to defeat with >a fucking rock
