Here's how I see it going down: New Girl moves in with Clinton. New girl needs a job and starts working at the coffee shop. Emily finds out about them living together and starts acting weirder than normal, but nobody's sure if she's jealous or not. This is the main plot for the next two years until Jeph either gets bored or goes crazy again, at which point he'll finally pick one.

Male cast: Marten, Clinton, Sven (who is the villain of this story), Steve (who never says more than a single line anymore), Claire's dick, and Dale.
There were more male characters but main story wise, it's a 2:1 ratio. Generally if there is ever a male in a scene, it's only to interact with a female while the females are able to have entire story arcs among themselves.
