Literally the first page, I've not read it yet. So far I'm not seeing the fuss. The art is horrible/lazy and the characters (Meathead and Bitch rich girl) totally don't come super well written.

Alphona draws like that, live with it. The fans love his stuff because his Jersey I'd colorful, vibrant place full of little surprises. Which led the other artists on the book to also putting jokes into the background. To the point where unnamed background characters have stories of their own.
The first few issues are a bit bumpy with where it's going, but people really love her family by now.
