What the fuck
Never heard of the original, but did Waid seriously write a "Superman goes rogue" story despite shitting on similar stories and sperging out over the mere idea of such a thing often?

yes he did
but he'd probably argue that it's ok because Plutonian was a Superman-archetype and not Superman himself
>cbr
No.
Are we at the point where every major comic story is getting a film? I would not be surprised if we get Crossed next.

It started off interesting.
... too bad it was an UTTER MESS by the end.
The main character basically was sent to space jail, fucked an alien and fought an evil gay robot. It started off dark and ended up feeling like the Venture Bros.
I trust Adam McKay a lot more than I do Waid, I think he will actually improve the book.

>Ant-Man writer will direct
>Hansel & Gretel director will write
>writer will direct
>director will write
what the what?
>>82618927
it's getting a webseries written and directed by Ennis himself
>>82618986
McKay is a director/writer. Look him up, you'll see he directed a ton of Will Ferrel films and most recently directed The Big Short

Don't even joke about that shit
Everything gets optioned but 85 percent of this shit doesn't come to light, case in point
>>82618995
Its been "getting" a webseries for years, its not happening.

Eh, Incorruptible was better.
