I wouldn't worry about it too much, it's as much as a phase as 90's Marvel with power armors. Once fans finally see how tiring and overused it is they'll stop. Miles will be the equivalent of Scarlet Spider. Jane Foster will either die of cancer or become the equivalent of Beta Ray Bill. And Sam will become Falcon again (sadly though, since he's the only legacy character Marvel put out I found myself enjoying). Also Khan will be the perma Ms. Marvel since Carol will be known as Captain Marvel.

Apparently he got bit (we haven't seen how since it's a new continuity) and he got permission to be another Spider-Man from Peter since he asked nicely.
