Do you thinkthe emotions still remember him when Riley doesn't anymore?
Remember who?
>>82574377
yes, but without any memory cores they won't be able to remind her of him
>>82574377
Memories of him weren't deleted, just him. She probably can't imagine his like she could as a child, but there's zero reason to think she can't remember him.
>>82574530
Nah, it's flat out said that forgotten memories stay that. Forgotten.
Not to mention she was prob really young when she imagined him. Not that strange to forget about an imaginary friend completely.
>>82574568
He's not a forgotten memory. He's an imaginary friend and is different than a memory.
>>82574597
But there are memories of imaginary friends. something kids usually forget as they grow up.
I once had an imaginary friend... except he was real, 40 years old, balding, touched me in places nobody else would, and made me call him daddy.

>I was molested. That's all.
Only the freshest of humor for 4chan.

I think thatBing Bong was a poorly implemented character and didn't get enough screentime to really get an attachment to. His sacrifice fell flat and I can't believe people actually got sad at it.
>>82574877
I think it's more that it dredged up faint memories of the friends we'd forgotten, imaginary or not. He was a character from the past that was talked about then shows up. Yeah, there was more exposition to his introduction and connection to Riley, but I also don't see what else he could have done. He needed to be someone who was gone, not currently in her life, but not yet forgotten.

>someone out there is making right now a comic about her puberty and it's all porn

I had the same problem. It probably didn't help that I'd read the phrase "take her to the moon for me" far too often by the time I got around to seeing the movie that it didn't really hit me at all.
