It's Scott, I wouldn't take him 100% at his word. He did say he'd grown large once before. Albeit in the lab and he said he fainted. It's obviously something he's been willing to try.
Besides, why complain about him almost dying when he's a super hero. It's not exactly a safe occupation but Baskin Robbins would only find out again if he tried going back and what they'd do to him would be 1000 times worse than ripping him in half. You don't fuck with Baskin Robbins, dude.

He could have fit in with the MCU Thunderbolts, though.

Dude didn't get shit.
The Avengers were already fighting each other without Zemo's involvement.
I like how Hydra is basically a non-entity at this point. Crossbones is just doing shit on his own with some goons, the main villain isn't affiliated with them at all, and the Winter Soldiers were just rotting away in some facility.
Even if it's unintentional, it ties in well with AoS.

Fucking this.
While I enjoyed the film it's sad that when he died my first thoughts were 'well that's one less villain they could use in a mcu thunderbolts'
Did anyone else really enjoy Peter being reminiscent of young Steve in his motivations for using his powers and "for the little guy"?
And then did anybody else get creeped out that Stark was basically manipulating an impressionable kid with Steve's characteristics because he couldn't actually get Cap to listen to him?
>>82543417
The dude got the UN involved and watched while they tore each other apart.

>The dude got the UN involved
Ross got the UN involved.
>>82543467
So 200m for him confirmed?
So, unrelated, how would you want the shows to tie in with the movies?
Like, there's an invasion in New York, and the Defenders are briefly shown helping police defend the city, or the Avengers need info, and Coulson's team is shown raiding a Hydra base and sending it over.
I know it won't happen, but speculation is fun.

>>82543497
I can agree with this.
One of my favorite things about season one was because of him in general
>>82543453
Feel like this movie didn't really finish Cap's story all that well so it's obligatory he's going to have to show up in the future.
>>82543060
First half of the movie is a incoherent mess being pulled in too many directions. Movie is 20 minutes too long. Plot revolves around Stark being a complete idiot and Zemo being a Keikaku tier villain. Action while choreography and stuntwowk wise is strong, it's hampered by shitty cinematography, shaky cam and quick cuts and edited poorly. But damn I really enjoyed it. Everyone was great, Panther was good but drifting in and out of accent too much. All in all solid 7.5 out of 10, maybe 8. Not better than TWS but still pretty fucking great.
Why didn't Iron Man just rape the Winter Soldier?
>>82543514
Even if he trusted Steve at that point not to go in for the kill, he still was under the impression that Bucky was a murdering psychopath. Him drafting Peter into that was really questionable.
>>82543484
Justly, the powerhouses like Luke Cage should be in the main battle front.

Who's reaction to their family dying is "I'm going to find an old Russian test sight full of super soldiers, orchestrate terrorist attacks and purchase nearly perfect facial prosthetic of a guy from 100 years ago solely so can lure a bunch of superheroes to one spot to show them footage of an old man being punched in the face, so they'll fight"

Well it's not like his daughter isn't being care for in his absence. Yes, he want to be a good father, but he also want to be a hero, as the film said repeatedly. The fact that he ended up breaking the law to do it is just a quirk of his franchise.

>>82544161
The Buck is the guy in charge of his cryofreeze pod at the end.

>>82544090
Let's see...
IM1 he inspired the Iron Monger
IM2 he inspired Vanko, Justin Hammer, and countless enemy nations to work on their own suits
IM3 he turned Killian to villainy and gave Maya a formula for Extremis
Avengers he provided sustainable energy to create the portal for the invasion of Earth
Age of Ultron he created Ultron and his weapons provided the drive for the twins to survive their augmentations which they used against the Avengers
I think funding the rise of nearly every Spidey villain would top all of these.
>>82544178
His power core was broken, rendering it a very heavy set of pajamas.

I can't stop staring at his hair. Is all of it real?
>>82544178
The implication was that Cap damaged the suit's arc reactor.
>>82544178
Steve smashed his arc reactor. The suit lost power. And it weighs about 700 pounds (to be expected from a suit that averages ~4 cm thick titanium armor and various bits like missiles and shock absorbers), so he can't really move in it under his own muscle power.

>>82544185
Sure. Then he tosses it to Bucky who grabs it easily, proving without his mind control he's fine. Then Bucky tosses it to Wanda. Then next thing you know the three of them are juggling the hammer. It ends when they toss it to Tony and he gets pulled down through fifteen damn floors of the Avengers Tower.
Being Tony is suffering.
>>82544178
The same reason why Rhodes got fucked up in the fall despite wearing armor.
Cap was pushing his shit in with enough force to be felt through his armor. That's why his head was bleeding and shit once the helmet came off.
That shit must have been terrifying. Could you imagine Cap coming after you in one of the worst ways possible?
>>82544188
So basically, Tony is the true main villain of the MCU.
>>82544184
>My name is Bucky... And I like to Cucky
>>82544185
>Ayo hol up , so is Steve still worthy of Thor's hammer?
Thor had done far worse than what Steve had done. Helping a friend in need and a refusal to sign one's name under false pretences is what Thor would do too.
Tony literally told Steve that the signatures don't matter because they can change the rules later. And you see Tony breaking the Accords himself later in the film because he never respected it. It was always meant to be a hollow gesture. But Steve outright refuse to sign anything unless he was actually going to obey it.

>Suit must weigh a few hundred pounds. Have you ever driven car without the power steering?
600-800 pounds actually.

Do you have even the slightest idea of how hard it must be to move that armor without power?
>>82544238
>time to cucky le Bucky
>>82544178
Armor was already fucked up
Friday even mentions that the beatdown is taking a toll.
The coup-de-grace: Vibranium shield driven into the arc reactor, thus depowering the armor.
>>82544150
Yeah I know I'm just saying he wasn't doing it just for his happiness.
>>82544183
He explains in the letter.
>>82544217
Numbers = Bucky's birth year
Homecoming = Spider Man
Freight car = Bucky's "death"
Daybreak = Community reference
>>82544243
Hello?
>>82544241
Maybe hiding the secret of the Starks' death is what made Steve feel unworthy and why he couldn't pick it up. Now he's free of that burden and he'll wield it in IW.
>still no sticky
Goddamnit mods.
>>82544217
Brühl's Russian was terrible. Guess the triggers are more like suggestions than precise keys.
>>82544268
>why he couldn't pick it up
he nudged it, I thought he was feigning not being able to pick it up
>>82544228
According to Vision's calculations.
>>82543939
He's pulling a Costanza.
>>82544222
Wasn't Cap slamming the edge of his shield into Stark's helmet over and over?
>>82544224
>three of them are juggling the hammer.
>>82544300
I think the nudging was a hint he was maybe capable but his self doubt over his guilt at hiding it rendered him unable in the end. But everyone interprets that scene differently.
>>82543939
One of my fave scenes in the movie.
>Stan Lee plays a postman
>mfw he's actually Willie Lumpkin and connects the MCU with the Fantastic Four once Marvel gets back the rights
>>82544317
So...
Can one be slightly worthy? A little bit worthy?
Where did AoU Cap rate on the worthy scale, with 0 being not worthy and 10 being odinson
>>82544289
I've understood people speaking English with horrible pronunciation before. As long as Bucky can understand it, it's most likely capable of controlling him. I doubt all his handlers have been Russian in the past.
>>82544338
Ask Whedon. A lot of his storytelling is inconsistent and makes no sense.
>>82544222
It's probably hard to sit up, the suit's not that flexible, there aren't that many joints so he can make way for more armor. Plus Cap was sitting on his chest. Plus Cap broke his rocket boots earlier so he couldn't just shoot out of that position like he did with Thor. PLUS Cap was repeatedly slamming his shield into Tony's helmet (the thinnest part of his armor, besides I guess his fingers and joints), eventually breaking it, meaning Tony was injured and disoriented (since he's still feeling the impact through the helmet), not exactly thinking clearly.
It was the perfect storm of everything going wrong in the five seconds it took for Cap to break the helmet. Then Tony instinctively shielded his face before doing anything else. Then Cap, with one quick blow, disabled the arc reactor.

Any Slavs in the house? How was Sebastian's Russian?
I know he can speak Romanian but I don't how similar they are phonically.
>>82544197
Yes, he grows it out for the role. He's stated he doesn't like wearing wigs because they look fake.
>>82544300
>>82544317
I like the interpretation that the hammer rebuked him in AoU because his intention wasn't pure. He was just trying to show off and beat his friends in a silly contest.
>>82544376
A lot better than in TWS.
>>82543060
This movie was such a fucking watse.
They didn't play Guns n roses even once. What a fuckin rip off.
>>82543121
>>82543131
Really don't care about their bias towards DC
CW are more fun
Based Steve >>>>>>>>> Tony Stank
>>82544286
Let it go.
It's not getting the same amount of attention:
-- OMGs like Winter Soldier OR
-- WTFs like AoU.
It's coming in like a meh like IM3
>>82544289
Hewas Sokovian Special Forces anyway.
>>82544207
The scene with War Machine falling out of the sky pretty effectively showed being inside one of those suits when they're not powered is a pretty fucking scary situation

he is the watcher. The most rebellious one.

Almost everyone in these threads agrees that it's one of the best in the MCU, what you talking about.
