My closest LCS usually limits people to five books. I was thinking the 2000 AD compilation (due to the sheer size of what they're offering), Street Fighter V (fucking Udon), possibly Sonic (if the book is actually good), and then two free choices. Is it only where I live or does DC just do poorly in FCBD? Like last year there were still freebies from Batman Day, and now this year I swear I saw a few Divergence hold outs. Plus, Captain America and Civil War 2 were flying off the tables while DC's offerings of ugh Super Hero Girls and Suicide Squad (Didn't even use best version) were just there.

I had made a plan to head north of where I lived and hit up 3 comic stores as I head back South to my home.
First place I go to, they had NO LIMIT (past one of each comic per person). All they asked was that for every 3 comics I get, I donate 1 can of food or $1 to them for some local food drive charity. So I get ONE OF EVERYTHING and give them $25 for the food drive.
And then I hit up the 2nd place, which was doing the usual 5 per person and it is also have a sale on some back issues for 3 for $1.
And 3rd place had 5 per person PLUS some comic creators were there selling autographed copies of their stuff. So I bought one.
END RESULT
50 different free comics.
7 duplicates of some of the free comics.
About 10 or so back issues.
And 1 signed comic from the creator.

At one of my town stores i got this. A guy had made a concept album and then had artists draw each track as an issue. So eachbissue has a different artist but he did what he said as most of the script, giving artists a little creativity since it is supposed to relate to the music.
Really looking forward to reading/listrning to this.

Just got back from my LCS. They do 50% off back-issues on FCBD, so I used it as an oppurtunity to load up on some comics I had been eyeing.
Specifically, Eternals #1 and Devil Dinosaur #1, along with a few other issues of Eternals. Now I only need 5 more issues and the annual and I'll have the whole collection of Kirby's Eternals. So fucking hype. Unfortunately the Devil Dinosaur #1 wasn't in the best condition but it's still good.
Also got a few issues of old amalgam comics andYoungblood.
Was hoping to find some issues of the 80s Marvel-published Heathcliff comic and New Universe Starbrand, but they didn't have any of either. Still, really happy with the haul of Eternals comics I got. Been on a big Jack Kirby kick lately.

Had to go to the mall today, totally forgot there was a comic store nearby. Pretty small place, just enough room for the two walls and a stretch in the center, but the guys in there are cool/friendly.
Went in, was given a bag right away, no limit on what to take, everything was set up nicely on a table by the new week rack. Didn't look like they still had everything, no Tick for example, but I got what I wanted. This was at 4pm, so can't complain. Nice amount of people in there, they were makin' a little money, so cool scene. Got an X-Files comic for my sister.
It was ok, managed to get the only comic I cared about this year which was the Avatar one. Not a great selection this year.

It's FCBD, casuals are swarming in taking in free crap and getting duped into buying crap comics. I almost lost it when one of the employees in the LCS I went to went and suggested Red Hood and the Outlaws to one of the patrons.

Had a good time. There was a dude and his kids dressed up as Batman, Robin and Batgirl; everybody loved them. Lots of excited kids. Overheard some girl memeing about how Superman shouldn't be snapping necks, made me giggle.

hit up three comic book stores the first was in a mall and was crowded with mall rats who had just seen civil war. got in got my shit and got out, that place was packed. Had buy two get one free but they had moved a lot of the back issue boxes out to make room for a magic tournament so i didn't get anything The second one was much more chill had free food like burgers and hotdogs. The featured artist was leaving right as we got there but still got some cool stuff. The last place we went to had 25% off all back issues, each person could take five free comics, and they stuck free comic stickers on a lot of cheap junk comics just to move them. Spent like $25 dollars there. It was a pretty great day over all

The weird yellow line in the top third is on the comic.
At first I though it was a scanner glitch but it looks like a printing error.
I think the entire thing was supposed to have yellow ink across the page but for some reason it only showed up in one little strip.
I guess this is a neat alt color version.
If anyone else got this comic, do me a favor and see if yours is messed up too.
