I was so fucking mad that Marvel had no fucking idea what to do with her. Just look at what she was before coming to Marvel and follow up on that. Have her hunting down some earthbound supernatural beings, have her flip from villain to hero depending on whom she is hunting, Damion Hellstorm, Werewolf by Night, Ghost Riders are just a few examples of characters she would have meshed well with. The little side stories that Alngela's call girl was telling would have made way better comics than what we actually got.
Was cool as shit for a while in the 90s, then got killed a few times, shuffled around, and slowly phased out so Johns could relive his childhood

Bloody sad really. Someone at DC had a real hate boner for this one. Her series is canceled because of sexist reasons. Then is shuffled off to Robin with a horrible heel turn.
Then an entire year of this villain nonsense before Johns reveals she had Slade juice injected into her system. And then a welcome pace of good again before, more bad writing and limbo for an entire year.
Then they return the character with a new status quo and LIMBO again. This time for three bloody years. Now we have her back and who knows what we'll get in Detective Comics. It'll probably be bad.
