If the former, probably an Eternal. Not the toughest shit around, but high up there, with no specific weakness (kryptonite) or bond to any myth/destiny shit (asgardian)
If latter, probably Kryptonian. Even if kryptonite for some reason exists, I'm willing to play those odds. All the earth-based kryptonians seem to fair pretty well, and they live in a world where planetwrecking assholes are always punching their shit around
