Video rental stores are still around. There's a small one here in Minneapolis that still has people milling around in it whenever I drop by.
It also has a Pokemon wallscroll hanging in the kid's section that looks like it's been there since 1999. It has no color left on it. Place even has a small VHS section full of ancient black and white movies (with a tag saying seniors can rent them for a quarter, so they must have an audience).
