He fights for truth! He fights for justice! He fights for us all! He is Superman. And this is his thread.
Post your favorite moments featuring the big blue boyscout.
Nietzsche was right
If Lex Luthor is SO smart, why hasn't he used his brain to come up with a way to rape the Superman?

Superman is THE Ubermensch, but not because of what most people think.
It's not the powers but the conviction. Nietzsche made it quite clear in "Thus Spake Zarathustra" that it's really no matter what ideology you choose to guide your life. It's the strength of your conviction. It's no wonder that in the beginning he draws a parallel line between "enlightened" Zarathustra coming down from the mountain and a Christian hermit, who made the same enlightening journey long ago, and came with the answers correct in other time. Now that morality is too far gone for Friedriech to try and rejuvenate, so he wants to make another. In essence - the "slave morality" means letting others' tell you what is good or bad.
And here Kal El is the Nietzschean Superman - he won't compromise, he won't back down, and he doesn't care what people think about him. As pointed many times in the comics - he just knows what's right, most of the times instinctively. He strives to do his best on the path he chose no matter what, and that's the Will to Power.
I want to cry because of Zack Snyder. We will never see the real Superman again on the big screen.
Perfection
Maybe it's my favorite Louis Lane moment.

He'll reboot in about 10 years.

>Coming from Krypton didn't make you superman, Jonathan and Martha did
So good

>and that's the Will to Power.
Why doesn't he put the world in a bottle?

Oddly enough, this explains snyderman perfectly. He is exactly a product of the Kents in those movies.
