Klaus #5

Because for some reason no one storytimed this yesterday when it came out.

Which might be the first time I've seen that happen for a Grant Morrison comic on /co/.

Anyway, let's read.

STORYTIME

Wait, what? The fifth issue is just now coming out? I was under the impression that it was done and over with already.

Can someone storytime the rest as well? IIRC, I only ever read the first two issues or so, I think.

Good job, OP. I read this late last night and was hoping it would get storytimed. Possibly the best issue so far, although they've all be great. Art has been excellent, and Morrison has been on-point.

I look forward to making this book a yearly Christmastime read.
>>
>>82496303
It was delayed.

I's a seven-issue mini.

It is recently optioned for a movie adaptation.

Ho-boy.

Got to hand it to Morrison for finally having some kind of success in the movie industry though, if that even counts.

I need casting ideas for Klaus, NOW!

If the movie gets some decent star power in it, it will do well, as long as it isn't up against anything crazy. Seasonal movies will bring in a crowd who want to see something festive.

No problem.

>If the movie gets some decent star power in it, it will do well, as long as it isn't up against anything crazy. Seasonal movies will bring in a crowd who want to see something festive.
Never did read the rest of what actually came out and obviously it's not finished yet, but I can't see them adapting this without changing the hell out of it. It gets pretty weird and Morrison-y iirc.

Morrison is just too weird for mainstream audiences.
>>
>>82496159
7 issues my friend. It can't be over. It has only just begun.

I hope the final issue is extra-sized, though. We've only got two issues left for him to take down Magus and Krampus, and patch things up with his old lady. It could be done, but I hope he has the room to make it epic.

>>82496410
>It gets pretty weird and Morrison-y iirc
The weirdest bit was at the end of the first issue where he was possessed by some kind of crazy magic and made all the toys. Other than that, it's been pretty straightforward. I expect some craziness near the end, though.

Oh, really? I expected more weird craziness.

So do we know what those weird alien/fairies in the first issue were then?

Fuck Santa Claus. Nobody above the age of ten wants to see edgy mountain man Santa. That's fucking stupid.

I don't know how you people can delude yourselves into liking yet another round of Morrison jerking off to his own perceived cleverness. Both he and his dumbass fans need to fuck off back to Scotland, where nobody of consequence has to put up with his bullshit.

I know, man.

Least they could do, is throw in an HD remake of the SOT trilogy.

Those games not only still hold up, they're better than 90% of the combat platformers made these days.

Fuck AC.
Inferior mechanics and inferior story every.

The only thing they had going for them was being free roaming. And that just means that they are filled with busywork that doesn't progress the plot the slightest.

Disappointed that Santa and Mrs. Claus are in some dumb "married the wrong guy first" cliche

>The only thing they had going for them was being free roaming. And that just means that they are filled with busywork that doesn't progress the plot the slightest.
I like how they actually set the games in various historical settings. I'll be honest and say that it was pretty cool to roam about in Constantinople. Always did want to play AC3 for the American Revolution setting, even though I heard it really wasn't all that good. And I want to play AC4 as well, since I hear that one's supposed to be the best one.

Not really a big AC fan but I do have some hopes for games set in various settings, like the American Civil War, Japan, WW2. etc.
>>
>>82497652
It's just shitposting. If it becomes an actual problem just report the posts.
>>
>>82502618
The different settings are theoretically nice.
But you're actually just getting the same game with some slight tweaking and different coat of paint.
Plus the storylines are fucked beyond repair. Whatever throughline there was gets lost in the shuffle.

Prince of Persia was great because on top of the gameplay it had memorable characters.
I don't hate AC at all, but as a series it has really outstayed its welcome.
