Rides over guys, hope you enjoyed the discussion, cute OC, the great movie and the /co/ threads because the best times are behind us.

Here's hoping the special features on the Blue Ray release spur up GOOD discussion instead of popular drawfag circle jerks. Will you be getting the Disney store release with the lithograph or the Target release with who the fuck knows 15 minutes of bonus content?

You're more than welcome to discuss improving your art of course.

I have been wondering how they are going to innocently play out that added scene in which Judy's family visits her apartments and Nick happens to be in there with her.

There will be implications.

I'd like to think so, assuming medieval China had more integration between mammals, reptiles and birds than Zootopia.

I also have a pet theory that Zootopia, Robin Hood and The Lion King all take place in the same universe, with Zootopia being present day, Robin Hood taking place in the middle ages, and TLK being in the distant past when animals were just beginning to communicate with one another and form coherent societies.

I'd rather these threads just kept going unless people genuinely don't want to talk about this movie anymore at all. I always enjoy reading through what people have to say and hearing people's thoughts about Nick/Judy. As far as I'm concerned, /trash/ doesn't exist because I don't care to be forced to look at Zootopia porn just to get some decent conversation about the film, I will never go there. It's a shame people left, but whatever..I'll still keep visiting these threads daily, it's nice to talk with fans of something I enjoy.

There was a 9 month gap of time that we saw nothing of, it could have easily led to this point by the end of the film, though. I know people's thoughts on it is that it would it have felt rushed (and believe me, I agree) if they had just suddenly gotten together after bellweather's arrest. I WAS onboard with this line of thinking and totally agreed until Rich tweeted that 9 months had passed in between the concert at the end of the film and bellweather being arrested. Nick was at the police academy training for X amount of months, sure, but it's not like it was a jail cell, either. Him and Judy would have had time to get to know each other outside of just a case related bonding before we see the next scene in the movie which is after the 9 months and him graduating to be partners with Judy.

I don't think I've ever once dated someone that had over a 9 month "build up" period of getting to know each other before we became official, that's not how it works in reality besides very specific or friend zoned / rebound cases, which are not very healthy foundations to begin with. Then again I haven't dated all that much, but most people (read: all) I've ever met that became a couple it happend a few months into knowing each other (some of these wound up married about a year or so later, too), not waiting for years and years or anything as just friends to try and see if anything is there.

Heartwarming...yeah right.
My daughter who is 10 freaked out when she saw Nick get hit by a night howler and go savage - especially since that happened to one of our foxes a few years ago.

THEN the fox is smug and there's some sort of time limit before something bad happens???

Now she's freaking out again afraid she'll have nightmares.

I didn't read very far into the plot synopsis so I didn't realize the fox got darted...Had I known that I would have never seen it.

PG doesn't necessarily mean "good sense" or actually appropriate for sensitive kids!!!

What? you mean these threads will turn into just porn and only talking about drawfags instead of the movie?

Both of those get deleted by mods so I don't think so. I'm glad trash exists just to filter that kind of stuff over there for those that want it. If you like porn of Zootopia, fine. If you like to talk about <artist name>, fine. That's what those trash threads are for, but I just want to enjoy the movie itself with other fans, that's what these threads are for and I hope they'll keep going. I like this fuckin movie, man, I can't help it.

more then that, it was pretty much the whole movie... we went through several versions even before that back when Nick was the main character and Mr big was the big polar bear. Dont know if they will show them in the dvd since it was canned for darker tones, apparently some you can see on a "making of" thing online, have not watched that yet though.

Disney does the same thing with pixar movies, they try to quality control that way but Pixar tends to not gut stuff as easy as Disney because we are able to work under tight deadlines sadly, while Pixar has a much harder time. The timing for this review was just stupid for zoot, because it was months before the movie deadline and had been through several story changes so it was at a good place to start and the whole crew including myself loved it, the new movie is ok though. Hope the dvds will have some of the trashed stuff, but it was a totally different movie early last year so it may not be interesting in small clips.

I wonder how much of this is fabricated/tempest in a tea cup.

When the Nightmare Before Christmas came out, Burton noticed that kids watching the movie without their parents loved it, but kids watching with their parents became uncomfortable and scared. It's an anecdote, but I can't help but wonder if there's something like that at play here.

Also fiction is a good place to get scared, start having nightmares, where its safe. To start learning how to cope with fear.

Alright guys, let's figure this out.

What can realistically be done in order to rejuvenate these threads? Can we identify the issues? If so, what can be done to fix them? How can we carry out these fixes in a feasible manner?

I hear something about mods Shoahing artists. I for one don't understand why, but I do understand how this is damaging the livelihood of these threads. Can we think of any ideas to fix this issue? A compromise of some sort? An alternative?

I really enjoy these threads, as no doubt many of you do to, and it pains me to see them weaken everyday. But if Zootopia taught me one thing, it's that we can't expect everything to bend to our will, but we can still better ourselves. I call out to all of you, for some hope of an answer. I hope we can think of something, and I'm confident that if each and every single one of you in this thread help, we can finally make Zootopia threads great again!

How many times did Judy die?
>>
>>82495313
Hotpockets killed these threads. This combined with faggots crying about MUH WEAVER any time he posted helped to drive out content creation.

It's really that simple.

We have to kill the janitors. It's the only way. We can fill their cave of virginity in their moms basement with foxes and watch as they tear through their 500 pounds of fat.

Geez, I don't remember foxes being orange tubes of fluff..
>>

I remember seeing the first one on VCR when I was a kid. Some scenes I could only watch from under the blanket. But I loved it.
My parents made sure I know that movies like that aren't real.
Also these parents would get a heart attack if they read any proper folk tales. I've had a few books from around the world and quite a few of them are beyond fucked up at times.

These Boards exist for image posting and discussions.

We won´t ran out of images, as there are many anons, who recently began drawing, and surely there will be some more arts in the future.

The other thing, discussions, is something different. We have talked about the movie so much, that most words are spoken. If we have threads with new topics, the threads will flourish again.

>we need topics to discuss
e.g how has this movie changed your daily life, do you have new goals
Discussions of the deleted scenes, when the blue ray comes out

For the time being, the threads slow down like a river, but eventually there will be rapids again.

That poor thing is either morbidly obese, or just really fluffy. And I don't think nature is capable of producing something so ridiculously fluffy...
