Frogs have differing kinds of eyes (vertical/horizontal slits, heart pupils), but coquis have common round eyes. Besides pupil type, they can also vary in pattern and color.
I haven't seen any frogs that have Lily's slit-plus-round pupil, though. I think her eyes are meant to be stylized for the sake of expression, but they aren't the furthest cry from some of the weirder frog eyes.

I don't know. I just feel like they would go well together. They seem to be similar yet at the same time different. They're both viewed as delinquents yet in reality they're really just misunderstood. Well Violet's definitely misunderstood. The jury still seems to be out on Wanda. Which could honestly be interesting as a story element. Is she actually bad and thus deserves her reputation? Or is she really just misunderstood and her "delinquent" actions actually the result of accidents and misunderstanding, in a way similar to Violet? Or is actually a mix of both? Maybe she does actually do some bad and rebellious things but at other times she really doesn't mean to do them? There's also the contrast of personalities. Wanda appears to be much more upbeat and happy while Violet's a bit more low key, a bit more down. I think that could potentially work out well, maybe lead to some nice moments (comedic or otherwise).
So that's my reasoning for why I think they'd make a good pair. Maybe that could help explain my "fascination" even though I've really only brought it up once before IIRC in the thread that page was originally posted, where I said open to the idea of pairing Violet and Wanda, as opposed to pairing Violet with Charlie which I was against (still am).
