I think that's a real possibility seeing how we never got a proper Armor Wars for MCU Tony.
Pym would be fanatical in ensuring that his work doesn't go to the black market and rogue nations. So Scott and Hope will probably do covert ops to steal and/or destroy any and all trace of Pym Particles and Cross' knockoff.
I'm expecting more Luiz (good) and more Wombats (bad). What I want to see would be contrasting the Cold War era adventures of Hank and Jan with Scott and Hope in the modern day. Maybe a bad guy from Hank's field agent days coming back to destroy his family? We'll probably get more Microverse stuff where they go and rescue Janet and explore that dimension. Not sure who'd they use for a villain in either scenario, Cross was already a mish-mash of Ultron, Egghead and actual Darren Cross and that's most of Ant Man's rogues gallery right there. Maybe bring Irredeemable Ant Man in as a Hydra sponsored rival for Scott, a mirror for who he might have been if he hadn't reformed? Not an outright villain, just a morally dubious ex-con who just abuses the shit out of Pym particles for personal gain like Scott did in those deleted sequences. If they're going to expand the family even further why not just bring in Goliath as an ex-pupil of Hank's? Have him as the permanent growing big guy, with a giant form like Scott's and a smaller nine foot version for regular fights.
I'd personally really like to see Hope and Cassie on screen together. Cassie anxious and a bit jealous around Dad's new girlfriend, Hope trying to win her over, that sort of thing.

I'd really like to see Pym's origin adapted from Tales to Astonish. Make him full on mad scientist "I'll show them! I'LL SHOW THEM ALL!" and having a nightmarish first shrink adventure inside an ant hive where he struggles to get home to his lab and grow back. And that gives him the idea to make ant control devices for the helmet in the first place.
More badass mentor Pym in general would be nice. Give him those pocket labs from the comics, use that prologue they filmed in the first film, find an excuse to put him back in costume alongside Scott and Hope for the finale where they're in a race against time to beat the bad guy and get him out of the suit before prolonged Pym Particle exposure kills him.
