Why did getting hit by a nuke turning Superman into a skellington
>>82465450
He basically absorbs the radiation and it degrades him.
>>82465450
It happened in the comic book that Snyder was poorly copying.
It didn't make any sense there either, actually.

The military was really quick to launch a nuke at Doomsday, even though they were flying towards space.
I mean, they could have waited a minute.
Why didn't Superman fly Doomsday into the sun
>>82465456
Why though? I thought the Sun gave him superpowers. Why is the radiation from nukes bad? Too many free radicals? Too much all at once? A different wavelength?
The nuke blew him up but he regenerated from just a skeleton.

>I thought the Sun gave him superpowers
Radiation metabolisation is the Kryptonian's specialty. Kryptonite radiation is poisonous to them and depowers them, while red sunlight just depowers. A nuke is all dirty radiation. The sunlight Clark absorbs neutrally, like all things on Earth, is ultimately beneficial thanks to the filters of atmosphere and such. There've been stories when Supes gets overcharged on sunlight radiation and bad shit happens.

I am genuinely angry if true.
>>82465523
probably because its a different type of radiation altogether
>>82465551
get the fuck out of here
>>82465523
Because writers spend their lives in a small room and think radiation has different flavors.
>>82465551
I don't believe you
>>82465450
Same basic principal as Marv in Home Alone.
Ask, /tv/ they know all about it.
>>82465450
Because that is what happened in DKR.
>>82465535
That Batman ending was fucking awesome.
