>Darlene won't get robobody
>>82464821
I honestly have no idea what's going on anymore.
>>82464805
>>82464811
See You Space Cowboy, this run was better than many give it credit for
>>82464919
I like Venditti's Valiant stuff, compared to that this is dogshit.
>>82464919
Thing I mostly didn't like is how it kept raining over Hal, never sunshine. I liked arcs with Durlans, crazy Thanagarians and Sonar but come on, throw me some FEELS.
And Futures End... while I love how Hal went out, it's just that nobody will ever know. Died all alone God knows where.
>>82464617
>52
I feel kinda sad that we have reached the end of the New 52 era. It's strange
>>82464959
>End of the New 52 era
What are you talking about? They already dropped "THE NEW 52" from the covers when DCYou hit and even then it was the same canon. Rebirth isn't a reboot either.
>>82464976
Who mentioned a Reboot? Rebirth feels clearly different from New 52, with it's continuity fix ups while DCYou was a continuation with a few experimental titles. Come on mate. The fact that they're ending on issue 52 can't be lost on you
That was pretty anti-climatic
>>82464686
Booo go away Carol
>>82464805
>>82464811
What are the odds this is resolved in the HJGLC Rebirth one shot and then never brought up again
>>82464947
I don't get how is Valiant work is so much better. Is it a creative control thing?
>>82466163
Bitchy Carol should go away. Hook Hal up with Darlene.
>>82466213
1:1. Wouldn't be surprised if he uses gauntlet to restore Oa, Central Power Battery and Corps.
>>82466367
Probably. And maybe Valiant gives him free reign to do whatever he want with X-O.
>>82466462
I wonder if Darlene is even going to show up again, she wasn't in this issue
>>82464738
>you are making me do this
The more things change the more they stay the same, Hal sounds like his whiny parallax self.
>>82466532
Probably never. Looking forward to next idiotic reason why Carol and Hal aren't together.
>>82466543
Last issue Construct Hal didn't know who he was
>>82466557
I hate how Venditti writes Carol, she's a massive bitch
I am not looking forward to her, Hal and Kyle being in one book
>>82466594
>Hal & GLC will be overcrowded bitchfest
>GL will have Reds going full Space Jokers with them killing civilians and guilty alike
What a time to be alive.
>>82464617
His face no longer looks like overcooked pasta! Too bad about the interior art.
>>82466919
At least Tan is gone after this
Okay i'm out of loop , so where is parallax
>>82467295
Got beaten by Hal and flew away.
>>82467295
He flew off at the end of GL 50 because reasons
>>82467295
He ran away from Venditti's writing
>>82464703
wtf Hal, why are you such a redneck
>>82466608
I feel like since the GL line had a pretty good decade with Geoff we're paying for it now
>>82467733
He's a frat boy
>>82464686
> he's still hung up on Carol
fuck off
>>82464811
I liked you better when you were a God, God Jordan.
So what was the fucking point of bringing Parallax Hal back?
>>82469555
Especially considering it's just yellow bug parallax, I mean now the universe has two of them walking around.
>>82464633
IS this a redesign of another cover?
>>82470088
>>82470088
Every #52 issue gets variant with cover of first issue.
>>82470088
Yes
It's also a great example of how the book has declined, you get an inferior version of a Reis cover by Tan
>>82464633
>>82470228
I hope they'll keep handsome sinestro post rebirth, he's so much better than big head sinestro.
>>82464625
whats up with shaggy?
>>82464672
how is his spine not broken
>>82464948
>Thing I mostly didn't like is how it kept raining over Hal, never sunshine. I liked arcs with Durlans, crazy Thanagarians and Sonar but come on, throw me some FEELS.
Same
There were parts I did enjoy and I understand you have to have characters go through ups and downs but Venditti failed to provide any ups, nothing good happened to Hal personally in 30+ issues and that's just not enjoyable to me
>>82471799
Hipster.
>>82471853
Got used from boxing with Kilowog.
>>82472007
Exactly. Venditti's writing for how long, thirty issues? And no happy ending. No girl on end, no flying off to sunset. Just muh responsibility.
>>82464805
good luck hal
>>82471853
Hal is very flexible
>>82472065
>Exactly. Venditti's writing for how long, thirty issues? And no happy ending. No girl on end, no flying off to sunset. Just muh responsibility.
Not even that but we've seen over and over that Hal's willing to throw himself in front of a train for other people/the corps but nobody cares or appreciates anything he does at any point, whenever another person is actually around they just bitch at him for other stuff
Just let the poor guy have a friend, jeez
>>82471632
I hope so too, hot Sinestro is a blessing to us all
That Sandoval cover doesn't make me hopeful though

Boop
So they're not going tell us why he's going all construct? Why is he going to be wearing the ring again? He was much more interesting with the gauntlet.
>>82472209
He has one friend.
>>82476042
Well considering the writer will be the same he'll probably cover than stuff in the HJGLC Rebirth one shot
>>82476328
But they hardly see each other (i'm still annoyed we didn't see Sinestro's reaction to renegade Hal) and now they're gonna fight again
>>82476742
>now they're gonna fight again
No, no, you've got it all wrong. Sinestro will find construct!Hal and bring him back with the power of gloating and mixed signals.
>>82464811
He is a second rate Ion now?
>>82464947
You would think that the writer of X o manowar would write a decent GL book, I guess he was just phoning it in for the paycheck.
>>82477154
Maybe he's got a baby whale in there somewhere
one more bump
>>82464756
Wait did something happen to the Sinestro corps? Since I think they're pretty clearly in charge now.
>>82481797
The Corps have the edge but there are some other groups that want to establish themselves to gain control as well
>>82481797
The Sinestro Corps has basically filled in for the GLC but these dudes want a slice of the pie too
>>82464811
I am really really liking this way more then I thought I would and that lead off immediately made me think of this.
