Namor is literally the only hero that Marvel has that predates his DC counterpart, too. Even Guardian was Kirby's unused design for Captain America.

And CW screenwriters are considering getting Namor in the MCU. the fun thing about an ensemble cast is having the characters interact, and if everyone is a diluded copy of the other characters, then said interactions amount to nothing.
Namor is a proud king and a very powerful being so it's perfectly understandable for him to regard humans as inferiors (which they are). Having that contrast inside the rest of the MCU cast would be amazing, especially considering that Black Panther has been presented already and that he deals with his royalty in an entirely different and more humble/down to earth manner
