you may be interested to know that I myself am a lifelong devotee of the poobah fandom. As a tender youth I was weaned on the saturday morning cartoon, a program which, while admittedly dated and not noticeably hurt by budgetary limitations, nevertheless holds an undeniable nostalgic charm to this very day. In my adolescence I graduated to more mature fare, specifically the critically acclaimed, always boundary-pushing and occasionally subversive TV-PG poobah series reboot. It was also at this point in my cultural education that I quite fortuitously discovered the original japanese poobah cartoon, or "anime", which, in my personal, somewhat controversial opinion, far surpasses either western adaptation, not only in terms of writing, characterization, and worldbuilding, but in presentation and overall impact as well, speaking of the japanese incarnations of the franchise, I happen to feel that the video game side-series, despite a few notably weaker entries, comprises what may very well be the most underrated subset of the entire poobah oeuvre. Indeed, it is nothing short of tragic that so many of these titles, especially the more esoteric and experimental iterations, have yet to see an official north american release. Thankfully, poobah enthusiasts from around the globe have come together to provide fan-translated versions of these hidden gems to an international audience. As a fan of both video games as a medium and of poobah as an I.P., naturally I have procured emulated versions of many, if not most of these.
