I love how in the post-Empire galaxy people are already starting to think that the exploits of the Rebel Alliance are all a myth. This in addition to the galaxy forgetting the Jedi were real despite them being a common mention in war updates based on some of the holo announcements, some of which were made by Palpatine himself.
People have the absolutely fucking worst attention spans in Star Wars. I suspect maybe all those midi-chlorians are rotting their brains.

Hell, in Lost Stars the Imperial history is that Mace Windu was leading a gang that interfered with a legal execution on Geonosis which started the war.

You do make some good points, though what always got me was how they never tried to hide the involvement of the Jedi. In Lightsaber Lost when Ahsoka is chasing that Jango Jumper we see Chancellor Palpatine on the jumbotron talking about how he has every faith in the Jedi to win the war but that they just need a little more power which is why he supports some overt legislative power grab he no doubt benefits from more than the Jedi.
Though it's sitting in the middle of rush hour air traffic with people zipping by too fast to listen so...okay maybe that's how he hid his war updates about the Jedi. I take it all back.
