Alright, let me give you a basic rundown from what I remember. It's been a year, so I might've gotten some shit wrong.
>every character is either a puppet or in costume
>this entire film is supposed to be a more "adult" version of the muppets
>movie enters with a terrible musical number
>ugly ass hippo that's holding the gatling gun in >>82419637 is basically the protagonist of this movie, and the star of the show
>the guy that runs the musical is either a dog or a cat and we see him in his office
>he's a pornographic director
>he's dating the hippo
>cheating on the hippo with a cat named Sam-something
>cut to a shot of him fucking the cat
>hippo walks in on it and angrily storms out
>something about how a guy wants to marry a girl in a neighborhood that's actually not as repulsive as the other characters is going on in the background while all this is going down
>another fucking musical number that's actually not too bad from what i remember
>there's a rabbit with a shitting disease, meanwhile
>there's a fly in the toilet that's basically a journalist
>when rabbit man is done either vomiting or taking a shit he just emerges from the fucking toilet
>writing something on a notepad
>he then eats literal shit
>bunch more stuff goes on
>another sex scene
>more edge
>movie ends with hippo going rambo on everyone in the theater
>killing the good guy and the girlfriend he just got engaged to
>movie ends
I probably missed some stuff, but this should give you a good idea of what it was like.

Some of these are actually VERY good for kids. Scary stuff is not the same thing as incomprehensible stuff or inappropriate stuff.

Basically, when you need to be this old to understand the plot of the motivations of the characters, THEN it's adult. Children should, and MUST be scared.

He's based on a character from The Wall who is literally a walking, talking ass, complete with asshole-mouth and ball-chin.

Is that... Nausicaa? Why are there guns, a robot, a creature from the black lagoon holding a lightsaber, and a winged horse on there?

Bletch, the guy in charge of everything, is a walrus.

Also you missed things like the anteater dying from a noseful of borax, the bit where Bletch and his gang take out a whale mob boss by driving their car down his throat and out his asshole, and the contortionist who spends half the movie with his head literally up his own ass.

And the rabbit thinking he's dying of myxomatosis, only to find out it was a misdiagnosis and being all overjoyed that he's going to live just to get shot by the hippo in the next five seconds. That was funny.

And then there's the best musical number in the whole movie:

New World Pictures English dub with over 21 minutes cut out to make it "child-friendly".

Because of this: "On hearing Miramax co-chairman Harvey Weinstein would try to cut Princess Mononoke to make it more marketable, one of Studio Ghibli's producers sent an authentic katana with a simple message: "No cuts".

Come on, don't remind me. I was scarred by this shit because of how they ruined a masterpiece.
If you want to show Nausicaa to kids, show them the 2005 Disney/Pixar dub which is uncut and is much more faithful to Miyazaki's intention.

"Roit, sorted then. Here's a machine gun, here's a vision obscuring puppet head, try not to perforate any of the grips"

http://www.gutenberg.org/files/3186/3186-h/3186-h.htm

"Nikolaus has risen to close the window. His life is changed, his new career has begun. There will be consequences."

It made me feel creepy; it was uncanny.

"But for this change certain things would happen twelve days from now. For instance, Nikolaus would save Lisa from drowning. He would arrive on the scene at exactly the right moment—four minutes past ten, the long-ago appointed instant of time—and the water would be shoal, the achievement easy and certain. But he will arrive some seconds too late, now; Lisa will have struggled into deeper water. He will do his best, but both will drown."

"Oh, Satan! Oh, dear Satan!" I cried, with the tears rising in my eyes, "save them! Don't let it happen. I can't bear to lose Nikolaus, he is my loving playmate and friend; and think of Lisa's poor mother!"

I clung to him and begged and pleaded, but he was not moved. He made me sit down again, and told me I must hear him out.

"I have changed Nikolaus's life, and this has changed Lisa's. If I had not done this, Nikolaus would save Lisa, then he would catch cold from his drenching; one of your race's fantastic and desolating scarlet fevers would follow, with pathetic after-effects; for forty-six years he would lie in his bed a paralytic log, deaf, dumb, blind, and praying night and day for the blessed relief of death. Shall I change his life back?"

>Satan is the good guy in this story.

It's more of a critique of the western entertainment industry (people having hedonistic fun while no one cares about true culture like Hamlet)

http://www.awn.com/animationworld/spectacular-hi-filow-fi-sounds-and-images-studio-filmtecknarna

>"Joakim told us about the trip he made to Berlin," says Odell. " When you enter East Berlin you had to exchange a certain sum of money into East German marks but you weren't allowed to bring them out of the country." Law abiding as he was, he desperately tried to spend the money on what there was to buy (i.e. cheap souvenirs and nylon socks). This developed into a satire on the entertainment industry and the desperate race to have a 'good time.'

This is one that I knew wasn't for kids but, seeing the cover in the video rental store as a kid mesmerized me. It was a cartoon with a lady not wearing a shirt and little me thought that was scandalous. Now looking back, I really really wish I'd watched this when I was about 12 (as in, before The Matrix came out) because it would have been a much better introduction for me to some of the the themes and the cyberpunk genre. Like how I'm grateful for watching Paprika before Inception came out. My parents probably would have let me get Ghost in the Shell too, if for nothing else than to stop me from renting Watership Down for the hundredth time.
