Pretty sure Power Ring died on Earth-1 and she inherited the ring. Fucking this. I don't even care about the diversity angle; I actually liked the character for what she was. Making her one of SIX Human Lanterns with a whole planet full of others is just making her less important. Now she's just going to exist to job whenever Hal or Kyle need to do something special.

I kind of wish they would split the Earth Lanterns up into different colors. Have Guy go back to being Red Lantern, Hal stays on as the new Ion, John goes off an joins the Star Sapphires, Kyle stops being a faggot and goes Blue, Baz & Jessica can be the only human GLs (well Hal is WILL).
While she wouldn't be as unique as she was as Power Ring, her being the few remaining human GLs would've helped her a lot. Instead she has Hal, John, Kyle, Guy, and Baz. She brings nothing unique to the table, other being waifuable. If she was Power Ring still then it would've been more unique. Because she has to be living in fear to use her ring.

Yeah, the new Corps have a perfect opportunity for all the Lanterns to serve a purpose. Have them all head out and serve as ambassadors with the other corps. Simon could even actually do something for once. Maybe have him hang out with the Indigo Lanterns?
The problem is that once you make Jessica a Lantern, everybody knows exactly what will happen. She'll fuck around in space for a year and then Hal will come back, and for the rest of eternity she'll just be another Lantern who shows up in group shots when we need all the Lanterns to fail to stop a super cereal threat like Ch'p or the diamond guy.
