I've actually been rewatching JL/JLU lately because I realized I watched it as a teen when it came out and missed a lot actually.
I realized Aresia's character is actually really relevant to today's current political culture climate -- the female supremacist. There are serious women, like the "femtheist" who call for men to be killed or have their population controlled.
